Melinda Hillis MS RDN LD has extensive experience in nutrition and food service management, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Support Services (Food & Child Nutrition) for the Dallas Independent School District since August 2017. Prior roles include managing patient services at Aramark Healthcare and serving as a Division Officer for the U.S. Navy, where responsibilities included overseeing clinical nutrition and food service management for military personnel. Melinda's background also features bilingual outpatient dietitian work at the Texas Diabetes Institute and significant research contributions in cardiovascular health and nutrition during tenures at the Institute for Women's Health and LEAD University Program. Melinda holds a Master's degree in Exercise and Sports Nutrition from Texas Woman's University and a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from the University of Texas Pan American.
