Twilla Thomas

Twilla Thomas has over 34 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Twilla currently serves as the Chief Nursing Officer at Dallas Medical Center. Previously, they held the same position at Pampa Regional Medical Center, where they were responsible for overseeing nursing and patient services. Twilla also served as the Quality Resource/Performance Improvement/Infection Control/Case Management Director at Pampa Regional Medical Center. Prior to that, they worked as a Medicare Administrator/Coordinator at Interim Home Health. Twilla has also held various roles at Pampa Regional Medical Center, including Director of the Medical Surgical Department and Registered Nurse/Charge Nurse. Twilla began their career as a Hospital Corpsman in the US Navy and later served as a Clinical Services Supervisor at Clovis Community Home Health.

Twilla Thomas completed their education from various institutions over the years. Twilla started by earning their Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Clovis Community College, where they attended from 1996 to 1999. Afterwards, they attended Mohave Community College from 2001 to 2003, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. Twilla then went on to West Texas A&M University from 2014 to 2016 and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Finally, they attended The University of Arizona College of Nursing from 2016 to 2018, where they completed their postgraduate education and earned a Master of Science in Nursing Clinical System Leadership with a focus on Nursing Administration.
