Toni Miller, CAP®, has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Toni currently serves as the Managing Director of Development at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, where they oversee the Individual Giving Team and is responsible for raising over $5 million in contributed revenue annually. Toni also manages the Legacy programs and works closely with key board members. Prior to this role, they held positions as the Sr. Manager and Manager of Endowment and Planned Giving at the same organization, where they strategized and executed planned giving programs, educated colleagues, and collaborated on a $100 million endowment campaign.

Before joining the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Toni co-founded and served as the Executive Producing Director of Miller Shelton Group, a production company, from 2014 to 2017. Toni also worked for the Arthritis Foundation as the Regional Grants & Giving Manager and later as the Community Development Director for North Texas. In addition, they had their own independent movie company called La Luna Entertainment, where they were the Owner and Producer. Toni'sresponsibilities included securing investments, managing budgets, negotiating contracts, and overseeing marketing and publicity.

Toni also has experience in the fields of communications and talent management. Toni worked at Verve Communications Group as a Senior Account Executive and held the position of Senior Grant Manager at Mothers Against Drunk Driving, managing multiple grant-funded projects.

Earlier in their career, Toni worked as a Publicist at MCA Records Nashville and as an Assistant Talent Manager/Tour Manager at Mike Robertson Management.

Toni Miller, CAP®, has a diverse educational background. Toni began their education at Anderson University from 1985 to 1987, where they pursued studies in Entertainment and Music Business. Toni then transferred to Belmont University, where they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing & Music Business from 1987 to 1990.

Later in their career, Toni obtained a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy Designation from The American College of Financial Services. This certification was earned in November 2018, indicating their expertise in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management.
