Simon Birkinger started their work experience in 2009 as a Praktikant Sales & Marketing at Bayern Facility Management GmbH. From September 2009 to July 2014, they worked as a Consultant / Project Manager at line consult GmbH Architekten und Ingenieure. In August 2014, they joined Oracle Deutschland B.V. & Co. KG as a Senior Consultant and held this position until July 2022. From May 2022 to January 2023, they worked as a Customer Success Manager at Oracle Global Services Germany GmbH. In November 2022, they took on the role of Manager Customer Success EMEA @ Oracle CEGBU at the same company. Currently, they are working at Dalux as a Customer Success Manager, starting in July 2023.

Simon Birkinger completed their education at various institutions. From 2006 to 2009, they attended FH Kufstein Tirol – University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Facility Management & Immobilienwirtschaft. In 2008, they briefly studied at Audentese Ülikool, focusing on International Business. Continuing their education, Simon pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Facility & Real Estate Management from 2009 to 2011 at FH Kufstein Tirol – University of Applied Sciences.
