Lukas Gilz

Lukas Gilz is the CTO and Founder of damedic GmbH since July 2018, where the focus is on creating intuitive SaaS products for process optimization in hospitals, with software deployed as both cloud and on-premise solutions for various German hospital operators. Prior to this role, Lukas served as an AI Developer and Consultant at Cognotekt from October 2015 to June 2018, leading projects on the annotation of medical billing data and developing machine learning-based tools for claims management and validation automation. Lukas holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Diplom-Physiker degree in Physics from the same institution, with additional educational experiences at The University of Queensland, The University of Sheffield, and National Cheng Kung University.
