Richard Keulen

Richard Keulen currently serves as the Director of Corporate Strategy and Innovation at Damen Naval since September 2023. Richard has held the position of Director Naval Sales Support & Marketing at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding since March 2013, focusing on global naval market development, military shipping, and defense portfolio coordination. Previously, Richard Keulen worked as a Staff Officer for EU Military Cooperation Affairs at the Netherlands Ministry of Defence and held commanding officer roles in the Royal Netherlands Navy, including HNLMS De Ruyter and HNLMS Van Amstel. Richard Keulen has a strong educational background in security and defense, with degrees from institutions such as the Netherlands Defence College and the Royal Netherlands Naval College, and is participating in a leadership course at Leergang Leiderschap Nationale Veiligheid in 2024.
