Mike Jensen

Mike Jensen has a diverse work experience. Mike started their career as a Technical Manager at ERDAS PTY LTD in 2001 and later became the Technical Services Manager for the AsiaPac region. Mike worked on integrating ER Mapper and Erdas Apollo GIS systems for major Government and Industry accounts. In 2012, they joined West Coast Institute of Technology as an Instructional Designer and Lecturer. In 2013, they worked at Yard Interventions as a General Gardener, performing tasks such as mowing, weeding, pruning, and trimming. Mike also started working as a Quality Assurance Consultant at Applied Project Experience in the same year. Here, they were involved in software QA for their construction project management system. Currently, since 2020, they are working as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Damstra Technology, where they are responsible for software testing on various product offerings.

Mike Jensen attended the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 1969 to 1972. Mike pursued a Diploma in Industrial Electronics, specializing in Electronic Design. After a substantial gap in their education, they joined Curtin University in 2010 and completed their Master of Science degree in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) in 2015.
