Senior Director Patient Safety, Risk Management, Patient Family Relations, And Infection Control at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Dana Platt, MSHCA, BSN, CPHRM, currently serves as the Senior Director of Patient Safety, Risk Management, Patient Family Relations, and Infection Control at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since February 2020, having also held roles including Interim Senior Director and Director of Risk Management, Education & Training during the same tenure. Prior to this, Dana Platt gained extensive experience at MemorialCare Health System as Executive Director of Clinical Risk & Patient Safety and various roles in risk management and performance improvement from June 2011 to November 2019. Additional roles include Adjunct Faculty at California State University, Long Beach, Clinical Risk Manager at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, and Health Information Nurse Specialist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Dana Platt holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Boston College.
