Director And Principal Scientist, Longwood Center For Structural & Chemical Biology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Sirano Dhe-Paganon serves as the Director and Principal Scientist at the Longwood Center for Structural & Chemical Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since August 2013, leading a team focused on drug discovery projects utilizing mechanistic insights. Previously, Sirano held the position of Director of Applications at Digilab, Inc. from 2012 to 2013, and served as Principal Investigator and Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto from September 2004 to March 2012, where the research concentrated on the biochemistry and structural biology of diabetes and oncology-related proteins. Earlier experience includes roles as Instructor of Medicine and Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Joslin Diabetes Center, focusing on the biochemistry of diabetic targets and mechanisms of insulin signaling. Sirano holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Brandeis University and a Bachelor's degree in Arts & Sciences from McGill University.
