Dr.-Ing. Alvin Anthony

Dr.-Ing. Alvin Anthony has extensive work experience in the field of engineering and sales. Dr.-Ing. Alvin started their career as a Masters Thesis Intern at Pi Fluid Systems in 2003 and later worked as a Senior Application Engineer at the same company. In 2005, they joined Chidambaram Shipcare Private Limited as a Ship Repair Engineer, specializing in fluid power systems diagnostics and design for marine and offshore machinery. Dr.-Ing. Alvin then moved to Wipro Technologies - Engineering Design Services, where they worked as a Consultant. In 2006, they became a Project Leader - Research & Development at Wipro Infrastructure Engineering.

In 2008, Dr.-Ing. Alvin Anthony started their doctoral research at the University of Parma in Italy and later became a Doctoral Researcher at the same institution. Dr.-Ing. Alvin also worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the University of Parma in 2012. During this time, they gained valuable experience in product validation and verification at Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems. Dr.-Ing. Alvin continued their journey at Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems (Bosch Rexroth AG & Dana Corp - JV), where they held the position of Sales Product Management.

In 2019, Dr.-Ing. Alvin Anthony joined Dana Incorporated as a Global Platform Lead for Heavy Material Handling and Port Equipment. Dr.-Ing. Alvin is currently serving as the Global Sales Lead for Powersplit Transmissions and Platform Lead for Heavy Material Handling at Dana Incorporated. Dr.-Ing. Alvin has demonstrated expertise in sales, product management, and leading global teams in the heavy material handling industry.

Dr.-Ing. Alvin Anthony completed their education with a Ph.D. in Fluid Power Control Systems from Università degli Studi di Parma in 2011. Prior to this, they obtained an M. Tech in Mechatronics from Vellore Institute of Technology in 2004, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the same institute in 2001. Dr.-Ing. Alvin completed their H S C from Montfort Higher Secondary School India in 1997, and received education from Indian Embassy School from 1985 to 1995.
