Tim Reinhart

Tim (T.J.) Reinhart, C.E.T. has a diverse work experience in manufacturing engineering and lean manufacturing roles. Starting in 2004, they worked as a Product Engineering Trainee at Honda of Canada Mfg., where they analyzed warranty parts and conducted testing to confirm design intent. Tim (T.J.) then moved on to Faurecia in 2006 as a Manufacturing Engineering Trainee. In 2007, they joined K.T.H. Shelburne Mfg. as a Project Manager.

In 2010, Reinhart joined Dana Incorporated, where they held various roles over the years. As a Manufacturing Engineering Lead, they implemented equipment and facility strategies, developed capital plans, and led the deployment of advanced robotics and AI solutions. Tim (T.J.) also led the development and deployment of collaborative robots, resulting in cost savings and labor reduction. Additionally, Reinhart served as a Lean Manufacturing & Tool Room Manager, supporting lean initiatives and managing tool room operations.

Overall, Reinhart has a strong background in manufacturing engineering and lean manufacturing, with expertise in process development, automation, cost savings, and efficiency improvements.

Tim (T.J.) Reinhart, C.E.T. completed their education as follows:

- From 2023 to 2027, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computational Science and Engineering at McMaster University.

- Between 2020 and 2023, they obtained a Master of Engineering - M.Eng in Systems and Technology (Digital Manufacturing) from McMaster University.

- Their undergraduate education took place at McMaster University from 2012 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Manufacturing Engineering.

- Additionally, from 2012 to 2020, they obtained a Certificate in Business Management from Mohawk College.

- Earlier, from 2005 to 2007, they completed an Ontario Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology - Automotive Manufacturing at Georgian College.
