Matt Gorovoy

Matt Gorovoy, PhD, MBA, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and strategy within the biotechnology and diagnostics sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Danaher Corporation since 2021, Matt previously held leadership roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, including General Manager and Head of BD/Sales, where responsibilities included leading COVID diagnostics initiatives and managing significant P&L obligations. Earlier career highlights include a Director role at AltheaDx, a founder of a management consulting firm, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California at San Diego. Educational credentials include an MBA from the Rady School of Management, a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology from the University of Illinois, and a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
