Dr. Panos Nomikos

Dr. Panos Nomikos has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr. Panos started their career as a Developer at Pan Drive S.A. in 1990. From 1991 to 1995, they worked as an I.T. Manager at Stelmar Tankers - Hadjioannou Group, where they focused on ICT strategy formulation and project management. In 1997, they founded Netshipbrokers.com, the internet's first online chartering exchange, which grew to 6,000 members from over 100 countries. In the same year, they also established P. Nomikos & Co. E.E. and served as the Principal until 2005. Dr. Nomikos then became the Founder and President of AMMITEC, a non-profit professional association for ICT Managers in the maritime industry, from 2002 to 2005. Since 2005, they have held the position of Deputy Managing Director at Danaos Management Consultants S.A., where they oversee the Sales and Customer Care departments and a network of offices worldwide.

Dr. Panos Nomikos received their B.Sc. degree in Physics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, where they studied from 1979 to 1984. Following this, they pursued a Ph.D. in Information Technology - Automatic Control Systems at the University of Sussex, completing their studies from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their academic degrees, Dr. Nomikos obtained the certification of MIET from The Institution of Engineering and Technology in January 1985.
