Varun Mahna

Varun Mahna is the CEO & founder of Dangal Games. He laid the building blocks of Dangal’s gaming empire in 2017 inspired by his prolonged passion for Poker which started back at BITS Pilani in his engineering years. The strategic convolutions combined with the thrill of clinching a winning hand kept his love for the game soaring through XLRI Jamshedpur, where Poker was in the air. Working with the leading sports-media brand, Star Sports, Mahna saw his passion reengineer into an entrepreneurial vision of an Indian online gaming hub beyond the real money phenomenon to stimulate community building & instill a sense of belonging in the native players. The masterly skipper has since then led the diversification of Dangal’s gaming portfolio from skill-based to strategy to fantasy & now to hyper-casual.
