Anders Peter Jensen

Anders Peter Jensen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Anders Peter is currently serving as the Head of Biomass Sourcing at Danish Bio Commodities A/S since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Bioman ApS as a Biogas Process Specialist from November 2018 to February 2022, where they focused on optimizing processes and improving the economic performance of internal biogas plants. Anders Peter also identified new biomass substrates for anaerobic digestion.

From January 2017 to October 2018, Anders worked as a Senior Specialist at Ørsted, where they managed R&D projects related to the development of technology for pretreatment and anaerobic digestion of municipal solid waste.

Earlier in their career, Anders worked at Xergi A/S, first as a Process Specialist from November 2004 to June 2006, and later as a Research Manager from June 2006 to December 2016. Anders Peter was responsible for establishing and developing in-house testing facilities for pre-treatment methods and anaerobic digester concepts. Anders Peter also managed the projects and people involved in externally funded development and demonstration projects.

Before joining Xergi A/S, Anders worked as an Environmental Advisor at Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke – ActionAid Denmark from January 2001 to June 2004. Anders Peter also served as a Project Manager at Østdeponi Amba/L90 from November 1999 to January 2001 and as a Process Specialist at Herning Municipal Utilities from June 1996 to November 1999.

Anders Peter Jensen attended Frederikshavn Gymnasium from 1983 to 1986. However, no degree or field of study was specified during their time at the gymnasium. Afterward, they pursued higher education at Aarhus University from 1987 to 1995, earning a Master of Science degree in Biology.
