Grant Shubin

Grant Shubin is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in human rights and legal advocacy. Currently serving as a Legal Advisor at DIGNITY - Danish Institute Against Torture since January 2022, Shubin previously held various positions at the Global Justice Center from February 2014 to February 2022, including Legal Director, Deputy Legal Director, Staff Attorney, and Legal Fellow. Earlier experience includes serving as an Associate Attorney at Millstein & Associates and as a Volunteer Attorney at Bayview Hunters Point Community Legal, where Shubin focused on research, legal writing, negotiation, and representation of underserved clients. Grant Shubin earned a Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco in 2013 and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2008.
