Erin Lovell is a legal professional with extensive experience advocating for youth and children. As the Founding Executive Director of Legal Counsel for Youth and Children since June 2010, Erin has focused on advancing the legal rights of young people to improve their well-being. Prior to this role, Erin served as a Staff Attorney in the Dependency Unit at The Defender Association from October 2005 to October 2009, where advocacy for families involved in the child welfare system was central. Earlier, Erin contributed to the Uhlich Children's Home as an Amate House Volunteer, organizing educational programs for children in foster care. Erin holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the University of Notre Dame.
