Dominic Cucic began their work experience in 2011 as an intern in mergers and acquisitions at IMAP M&A Consultants AG. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a research assistant in competition and regulation at the Leibniz Centre for European Economic Research (ZEW). In 2013, they interned in the research division of Deutsche Bank AG, where they conducted analyses on the banking sector's profitability and the evolution of CDS spreads. In 2014, they interned in consulting at zeb/rolfes.schierenbeck.associates. From 2014 to 2020, Cucic pursued a PhD in economics at CEMFI, during which they also worked as a teaching assistant for graduate courses and as a research assistant to Paula Bustos. In 2020, they joined Danmarks Nationalbank as a research economist.
Dominic Cucic obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Economics from the University of Mannheim, which they attended from 2010 to 2013. In 2012, they had a brief stint at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) but did not complete a degree there. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Dominic pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Finance at the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI).
