Mia Heil Rasmussen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mia began their career as a Market Research Assistant at The Institute for Food Studies & Agro-industrial Development in 1996 and worked there until 1999. In 2000, they served as a Marketing Co-ordinator for Axxon Telecom B.V./Kast Telecom B.V. in the Netherlands and Belgium. From 2001 to 2008, they held the role of Marketing Manager Denmark at Forbo Flooring A/S. In 2008, they joined Ingka Centres, where they initially served as a Group Marketing Manager until 2012 and then as Head of Marketing until 2016. In 2017, Mia became the Deputy Chairman of the Board at Copenhagen Museums & Attractions and also took on the position of Head of Marketing and Communications at Danish Architecture Center (Dansk Arkitektur Center).
Mia Heil Rasmussen completed their M.Sc. in International Business Administration with a specialization in International Marketing from Copenhagen Business School, where they studied from 1992 to 1999. Additionally, they pursued studies in International Marketing and Sociology at Kiel University from 1996 to 1997, although no degree was specified for this program.
