Christian Vestergaard Paulsen

Christian Vestergaard Paulsen is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and asset management. Currently serving as the Head of Portfolio Risk Advisory and Senior Vice President at Danske Bank since November 2018, Christian oversees the management of approximately EUR 200 billion for a diverse client base. Previous roles include Head of Investment Risk at ATP, where Christian contributed to one of Europe's largest pension funds with total assets under management of EUR 94 billion, and Head of Quantitative Analysis at Nordea, managing multiple teams focused on model risk and credit risk. Christian began a career in finance with roles at Unibank and the Danish Ministry of Finance following an academic background that includes a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and further studies at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
