Marjo Koivisto

Marjo Koivisto is an experienced investment professional with a focus on ESG and alternative investments. Currently serving as Investment Director for Alternative Investments at Danske Bank since April 2023, Marjo previously held the position of Director, ESG & Investment Associate at P Capital Partners, where responsibilities included leadership in ESG investing and participation in corporate credit deal teams. Earlier roles include Head of ESG Quant and Co-Head of Responsible Investments at Nordea Asset Management, where Marjo co-led a team of analysts and developed ESG quantitative analysis. Marjo's background includes significant experience at the World Economic Forum as Lead in Economics & Finance and as an Analyst specializing in project finance at The World Bank. Marjo holds a PhD in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a Post Doctoral fellowship at Harvard University and an Executive certification in Business Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.
