Robert Butera

Robert Butera, PhD has had an extensive and diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Robert is currently serving as the Vice President of Research, Development, and Innovation at DAP since November 2017. Prior to this, they were a Founding Member, Director, and Treasurer at the Science, Technology and Research Institute of Delaware (STRIDE) from May 2016 to October 2017.

Robert Butera also worked at DuPont for a significant portion of their career. Robert held several positions including Global Technology Leader of DuPont Food Diagnostics from October 2014 to March 2016, Innovation Managing Consultant at DuPont Corporate Marketing and Sales from February 2011 to September 2014, Research Manager in various divisions from 2002 to 2011, and Staff Chemist from 1990 to 2002.

Additionally, Robert Butera has a Post-doctoral Fellow experience at Princeton University / Exxon Corporate Research from May 1988 to August 1990, where they conducted research on the molecular rheology and thermodynamics of polymer melts.
