Aaron Shafer

Aaron Shafer, CPA, currently serves as a Senior Internal Auditor at Darden since January 2023. Previously, Aaron held positions as an Experienced Senior Auditor and Audit Senior at BDO USA, LLP from May 2021 to January 2023, and worked as an Audit Associate at BKHM CPAs from November 2017 to May 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Systems Specialist in Corporate Reporting at Red Lobster, where responsibilities included calculating and paying variable rent and reconciling cash accounts. Aaron began the auditing career as an Audit Intern at Averett Warmus Durkee and has additional experience as a Web Content Assessor at Lionbridge, and a Field Support Technician at Rentsys Recovery Services. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Central Florida, an Associate of Arts from Seminole State College of Florida, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Enterprise State Community College.
