Farhad Anvari Azar

Farhad Anvari Azar currently serves as Head of Analytics and previously held the position of Quantitative Analyst at Dare since September 2021. Prior to this, Farhad worked as a Quantitative Trading Analyst at Conrad Energy Limited from April 2018 to September 2021, contributing to a company focused on power development and trading. Farhad's academic background includes a PhD in Energy System Modelling from Loughborough University, where the thesis focused on the analysis of cost and CO2 savings of Combined Heat and Power systems in new-build apartment blocks. Additional experience includes roles as a Knowledge Transfer Consultant and Electrical Engineering Intern at various organizations, along with a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy System Technologies from the University of Surrey. Further foundational education in Electrical Engineering was completed at Istanbul Technical University.
