Steven Burden

Steven Burden has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Steven is currently the Chief Strategy Officer at Dare since May 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Of Staff at Dare from October 2020 to May 2022. From December 2019 to September 2020, Steven worked as an Interim Executive at Dare.

Before joining Dare, Steven was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Mandara from May 2016 to September 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overall business management, including trader performance, sales, legal, compliance, operations, finance, HR, and technology.

Prior to their time at Mandara, Steven served as the Managing Director at Williams Lea from December 2012 to March 2016.

Earlier in their career, Steven held several leadership positions at Acxiom. Steven was the Vice President Europe - CIO / CPO (Product) from July 2010 to June 2012, overseeing the European Data and Software Business in multiple countries. Steven also served as the Vice President Europe - CIO from May 2008 to January 2011, responsible for client management, development, delivery, software engineering, and project management. Additionally, Steven was the Chief Technology Officer - CTO Europe from May 2004 to May 2008.

Steven's career began at Altwood Systems Ltd, where they worked as an Operations and IT Director from 2000 to 2004.

Steven also held the role of General Manager at Altwood Systems Limited from January 2000 to December 2001, overseeing a separate software and solution-based arm within the company, driving revenue growth and maintaining a profit margin.

Steven Burden attended the University of Kent from 1988 to 1991, where they obtained a BA 2(1) degree in Politics and Government. Following this, they pursued further education at London Metropolitan University from 1993 to 1995, earning an LLB degree in Law (conversion).
