Jason Hardgrave

Jason Hardgrave has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Jason is currently the Chief Executive Officer at DR Bank since June 2021. Prior to this, they held various roles at Santander US, including EVP of Consumer and Business Banking Products, where they oversaw functions such as consumer product P&Ls, innovation initiatives, and partnership development. Jason also served as the face of the organization and primary liaison to regulators. Jason was also the EVP of Business Banking Strategy and Delivery Director at Santander US, where they developed and implemented strategic plans for the small business and business banking division. Jason led the development of digital capabilities and customer acquisition strategies.

Before joining Santander US, Jason had a long tenure at the company, starting in 2005, during which they held multiple roles, including Director of Fintech Partnerships, Auto Lending and Leasing, and Director of Strategy for Corporate Banking. Jason played a crucial role in change management during the mergers between Santander, Sovereign, and Abbey.

Prior to Santander US, Jason was one of the founders and principals of Novantas, a strategic financial services consulting firm. Jason focused on consumer and small business product lines and specialized in marketing strategies, customer profitability, and post-merger integration.

Jason's earlier career includes a role as Senior Associate at First Manhattan Consulting Group and an Analyst/Intern at JPMorgan Chase (First NBC/Bank One).

Jason Hardgrave holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business. Jason obtained this degree from 1995 to 1997. Prior to their MBA, Jason completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics and German at Tulane University from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, in 1994, they pursued studies in International Economics at the University of Hamburg. Jason also holds a certification in Omega Commercial Credit Training from Omega Performance.
