Poonkodi Tamilmani

Poonkodi Tamilmani Ph.D. has a range of work experience in the food industry. Poonkodi is currently working as the Leader of Product Development and Commercialization at Darigold since May 2020. Prior to that, from April 2019 to June 2020, they were the Research and Development Manager at Lucks Food Decorating Company. Before that, they worked as an R&D Technologist at Campofrio from November 2017 to February 2019. Poonkodi'searlier experience includes working as a Senior R&D Associate at Defence Food Research Laboratory from October 2015 to October 2017 and as a Junior R&D Associate from June 2013 to September 2015.

Poonkodi Tamilmani Ph.D. completed a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Food Technology at Anna University from 2007 to 2011. Poonkodi then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Food Technology at Anna University from 2011 to 2013. Following this, Poonkodi undertook their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Technology at Defence Food Research Laboratory from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Advanced HACCP from the International HACCP Alliance and Implementing SQF 2000- Level 3 Systems from the SQF Institute in 2017.
