Fariba Zad Bagher Seighalani, Ph.D. has held various positions in the food industry since 2006. Fariba began their career as a Food Scientist at Tak Mah Parastoo- Food Packaging in 2006. Fariba then worked as a Research Assistant at Universiti Putra Malaysia from 2011 to 2016. During that time, they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant (Ph.D.) at both University of Idaho and Washington State University from 2016 to 2020. In 2021, they became a Senior Scientist at CURRENT FOODS, where they were responsible for research, formulation development, method development and transferring technical know-how to engineers. Fariba then moved to Planet Partnership as a Senior Scientist- Rheology and Texture in 2022 and is currently a Senior R&D Scientist at Daring.
Fariba Zad Bagher Seighalani, Ph.D. has an education history that includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Science from the University of Idaho/Washington State University, a Master of Science in Food Technology from Universiti Putra Malaysia from 2009-2012, and a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Resources Engineering from Guilan University from 2002-2006. Fariba has also obtained additional certifications from the University of Idaho and Washington State University, including the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program) Certificate, Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP).
