Marcial Silva is an experienced urban innovator and researcher specializing in Just Transitions. Currently serving as the Urban Innovator and Just Transition Research Lead at Dark Matter Labs since February 2023, Marcial Silva coordinates engagements for the NetZeroCities initiative and leads research to embed justice principles in urban transition plans. Previously, as Programme Development and Learning & Content Lead at Placemaking Europe, Marcial Silva fostered a knowledge exchange program to enhance governmental policy-making capabilities. Marcial Silva also worked as a Real-Estate Portfolio Analyst at Beneficencia de Lima and as an architect at YUPANA Arquitectos. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Urban Management and Development from Erasmus University Rotterdam, an MBA from CENTRUM PUCP, and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
