Pieter Jansen

Pieter Jansen is a seasoned cybersecurity expert currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Cyber Innovation at Darktrace since September 2022. Prior to this role, Pieter founded Cybersprint in April 2015, where the focus was on automating cybersecurity solutions to combat digital risks for large organizations, governments, and financial institutions. Pieter also held the Managing Director position at Cybersprint when it became a Darktrace company. Before leading Cybersprint, Pieter gained extensive experience as an IT & Security specialist, hacker, and programmer in various roles from January 2001 to August 2015, and worked as a software engineer at Cistron Internet Services, one of the early Internet Service Providers in the Netherlands. Pieter holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Science from Hogeschool Leiden.
