Tania Mair

Tania Mair is a Mechanical Engineer currently working at DarkVision Technologies Inc. since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Mechanical Co-lead at UBC Sailbot from 2019 to 2021, where they were responsible for developing and deploying testing procedures and contributing to the mechanical team. In 2021, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at UBC Electrical and Computer Engineering, where they provided feedback and co-led laboratory sessions for a course on Applied Electronics and Electromechanics. In 2020, Tania worked as a Product Designer at Dometic, where they collaborated with a team of engineers to optimize and expand Dometic Marine's steering systems and made various contributions such as designing fixtures, performing functionality tests, and analyzing mechanical components. Prior to that, in 2018, they worked at Goldcorp as a support for an international data integration program, where their responsibilities included project management support, weekly presentations, and coordination of contractor work.

Tania Mair pursued their education from 2016 to 2021 at The University of British Columbia, where they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering.
