Elham is a physicist, specialised in developing theoretical models, designing numerical algorithm and writing computer codes for a wide range of problems, in particular, simulating dynamical processes with applications in physics, chemistry, biology and material science. She has worked in several leading international research institutes in Germany, the USA and Spain. Before Joining Darmiyan, she was a Marie-Curie fellow at the University of Basque Country in Spain. Elham obtained her PhD in physics from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany in 2012. In her thesis entitled “Time-dependent Phenomena in Quantum Transport”, she challenged the conventional steady-state approaches to study current through molecular devices.
