Ben O. is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in endpoint security and network defense. Currently serving as the Lead Endpoint Security Engineer at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) since February 2016, Ben has previously held positions as a Host Based Security Engineer at USAID and MAD Security. Additionally, Ben provided maintenance and operational support for the U.S. Coast Guard's HBSS systems while working at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Earlier roles include Cyber Incident Analyst at SAIC, where Ben supported computer network defense, and Cyber Network Defense/Information Security at Navy Federal Credit Union, contributing to information security systems for over 14,000 employees. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Information Technology from George Mason University and an Associate of Science in Information Technology from Northern Virginia Community College.
