Chris Geeslin has a substantial background in legislative affairs, primarily focusing on defense-related positions. From 2020 to present, they have served as the Chief of Legislative Affairs at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). Prior to this role, from 2019 to 2019, they were a Senior Advisor at the Office of Legislative Affairs at DARPA. From 2013 to 2019, Geeslin held the position of Director of Legislative Affairs at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. In addition, from 1998 to 2013, they worked at U.S. Senator Richard Lugar's office, starting as a Legislative Assistant, Executive Assistant, and Staff Assistant before eventually becoming the Legislative Director.
