Andy McDavid

Andy McDavid has extensive work experience in engineering and product management roles. Andy started their career as an Engineer at Murray Incorporated, where they focused on evaluating manufacturing issues and finding solutions to improve product quality. Andy then moved on to DeVilbiss Air Power Company, where they had design responsibility for generators and managed the Life Test Rooms.

Later, McDavid joined Sullair Corporation as a Senior Engineer, where they developed a new electronic and pneumatic control system. Andy also gained their MBA during this time. Andy progressed to roles such as Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Project Manager, and Product Development Manager, overseeing projects and managing teams in the development of new products and technologies.

After Sullair Corporation, McDavid joined Spartan Motors Inc. as a Product Manager, responsible for gathering market data and identifying emerging technology trends to improve existing products and create new products in different markets. Andy then joined Dart Container, where they held positions such as Engineering Supervisor, Engineering Manager, and currently serves as the Director of Engineering. In these roles, they focused on machine design, project planning, customer support, and developing engineering solutions for complex problems across multiple manufacturing sites and equipment types.

Andy McDavid completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Memphis from 1995 to 1999. Andy further pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at Indiana Wesleyan University from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended Pawnee High School.
