Ted Vereen

Ted Vereen has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Ted started their career at IBM in 1984, where they served as a Marketing Representative for mid-sized S/370 and S/38-AS/400 accounts in Upstate SC. Ted achieved significant sales success, earning four 100% Club Awards and being elected as the President of their Sales Training Class in Dallas, TX. From 1990 to 1993, Ted owned and operated their own business called Once Upon A Time. Following that, they worked at the Atlantic Envelope Company as a Sales Representative, Sales Manager, and Regional Sales Manager, where they led sales teams, managed major accounts, and generated substantial sales revenue. In 2004, Ted joined GOS as the Director of Sales, overseeing a team of 15 sales and customer service professionals and developing and implementing marketing plans and programs. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at AT-NET Services, Inc., initially as an Inside Sales Manager and later as a Senior Account Executive. In these roles, they executed sales strategies and managed key accounts. Currently, Ted is employed at DartPoints as the Sales Director for DartPoints Greenville, Spartanburg, and Asheville Data Centers, where they provide enterprise-level data center services and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions. Ted is responsible for promoting the company's services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and protecting mission-critical data and systems.

Ted Vereen attended Socastee High School from 1976 to 1980. After completing high school, they enrolled at Furman University, where they studied History. Ted obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Furman University in 1984.

In addition to their formal education, Ted Vereen has obtained certifications in the field of sales. Ted received the EMC Velocity Sales Accreditation: Consolidate and Backup Recovery certification from EMC in June 2013.
