Jennifer Bjerke

Jennifer Bjerke, Ph.D., is an accomplished scientist currently serving as the Head of Biomarker Research at Darwin Biosciences since November 2022. Previously, Jennifer held the position of Scientist in Oncology IVD Development at Invitae from January 2020 to November 2022 and worked as a Senior Development Scientist at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics from September 2019 to January 2020. Jennifer's academic journey culminated in a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry/Chemical Biology from Colorado State University, where research focused on the synthesis of novel non-natural amino acids for use in engineered proteins. Jennifer also has experience in quality control and histology at SenesTech Inc. and served as a Supplemental Instructor at Northern Arizona University. Early work experience includes roles in hospitality and support for students in chemistry-related courses.
