Javier Barbadillo Amor

Javier Barbadillo Amor has a diverse work experience in the fields of artificial intelligence, computer vision, and software development.

Javier started working at R Cable y Telecomunicaciones in 2010 as an intern, where they developed projects for diagnosing different networks and equipment. Javier also analyzed traffic statistics to predict network saturation.

In 2011, they joined ALDABA as a code developer at the ISP department. Their role involved coding and development of mail provision services for R Telecommunication's clients. Javier also debugged mail provision aspects.

From 2011 to 2016, Javier worked as a research assistant at VICOMTech. Their focus was on applied research in 3D animation and interactive virtual environments. Javier specialized in augmented reality applications and visual tracking algorithms. Javier developed cross-platform applications for mobile devices during their time there.

In 2016, they joined Alerion as a computer vision engineer. Javier researched, developed, and found solutions for computer vision applications in autonomous mobile robots. Their current focus is on autonomous drones for damage inspection in wind turbines.

Since 2017, Javier has been working at Veridas as an artificial intelligence and advanced software engineer. Their responsibilities include software architecture, TDD development, and continuous integration pipeline. Javier works on cloud web services with Docker and AWS, web applications, distributed systems, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. Javier is involved in developing Access Control Systems based on Biometric Identity for various corporate solutions, transport, and events.

Javier Barbadillo Amor completed their education in a chronological order. Javier first attended Universidad Pública de Navarra from 2004 to 2010, earning a degree in Telecommunication Engineering with a focus on Signal Processing. Following this, they pursued a Master's Thesis in Computer Vision at Delft University of Technology from 2009 to 2010.
