Michael Ballsmith

Michael Ballsmith has over 36 years of experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry. Michael currently works as the Director of Sales and Business Development at Dasco Engineering Corporation, a subcontract manufacturer to Aerospace Prime OEM's. Prior to that, they were the President and Owner of Ballsmith & Associates, Inc. (Aerospace Sales) where they represented multiple subcontractors doing business with Aerospace Prime OEM's. Michael has extensive experience in various manufacturing and engineering processes, including complex 5-axis machining, forgings, castings, sheet metal fabrication, and composite structures. Michael has also worked on military aircraft, missiles, weapons systems, space launch vehicles, satellites, and commercial aircraft. Before starting their own company, they worked as a Project Integration Manager at General Dynamics Space Systems-Defense Projects, specializing in Titan IV/Centaur Mission Integration for the USAF.

Michael Ballsmith attended San Diego State University from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Corporate Communications.
