Brandan Keaveny, Ed.D., CIPM has worked in a variety of roles throughout their career. In 2016, they became the Founder and Principal Consultant of Data Ethics LLC, as well as the KnowledgeNet Chair-Rochester/Buffalo for the International Association of Privacy Professionals. In 2017, they became a Member of InfraGard. From 2012 to 2016, they were the Chief Accountability Officer for the Syracuse City School District. From 2007 to 2012, they were the Director of Accountability for the Rochester City School District. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Lecturer at The College at Brockport State University Of New York. Finally, from 2001 to 2006, they were a Special Education Teacher for the Rochester City School District.
Brandan Keaveny, Ed.D., CIPM received their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Rochester in 2007. Brandan obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Special and Elementary Education from SUNY Geneseo in 1998. Brandan graduated from Canandaigua Academy in 1994. In 2016, Brandan was certified as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In 2009, they obtained their Lean 6 Sigma Black Belt from Rochester Institute of Technology. Brandan also obtained their Lean 6 Sigma Green Belt from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009. In 2007, Brandan was certified as an Elementary Education N-6, School District Administrator, and Special Education Teacher K-12 by the New York State Education Department.
