Tom Roper has an extensive work experience spanning several industries. Tom currently serves as the Senior Sales Director at Datavalet, where they support the growth of wireless networks and provides managed network services to top organizations. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Account Director MDU at Single Digits, Inc.
Tom also has experience as a National Account Manager at Xfinity Communities, where they managed key portfolio clients and facilitated contract renewals and new builds. Tom served as the Vice President of Business Development at Epproach Communications, leading efforts in providing scalable, high-capacity WiFi and Internet networks for multi-family residential communities.
Before that, Tom was the Sales Manager at Tyler Technologies, managing sales teams in the Court/Public Safety/Brazos sector and working with clients in over 40 states. Tom also served as a School Board member at Pender County Schools and as the Regional Business Development Manager at Niche Technology, focusing on expanding the company's presence in the US market. Additionally, they worked as a REALTOR/Owner at Realty World Southeastern and as the President/Founder at VisionAIR.
Tom Roper attended Wake Technical Community College from 1980 to 1982 and obtained an Associates degree in Computer Science. In 2009, they also attended Miller-Heiman for a brief period to study Strategic Selling, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution.
