Kamil Koziara

Kamil Koziara began their career in 2010 as a Java Programmer at ICM Warsaw University, where they developed a desktop Java application using Swing and took part in creating EuDML platform. In 2012, they became a Technology Intern at Morgan Stanley. In 2014, they joined Data4Cure, Inc. as an Engineering Lead, where they designed and led the implementation of multiple key services, including a biomedical knowledge graph search, processing and storage, NLP processing pipeline targeting named-entity recognition, entity linking and knowledge extraction, customized full-text search, and storage for biomedical tabular data. Additionally, they worked as a full-stack developer on applications used to visualize and query various datasets, and co-created Data4Cure's frontend web application.

Kamil Koziara received their BSc in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw in 2011. Kamil then went on to pursue an MSc in Computer Science from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen from 2011 to 2012. Kamil returned to the University of Warsaw to pursue an MSc in Computer Science from 2012 to 2013, and then a BSc in Biotechnology from 2012 to 2015.
