Maya Romic

Maya Romic has over 9 years of professional experience, beginning in 2012 as a Business Development Consultant at RLG:AU. In 2016, they joined Socialsuite as a Business Development Manager, where they increased company revenue by 30% in 10 months and initiated and managed two successful marketing events that generated over 500 new leads. In 2018, Maya moved to Hootsuite as a Commercial Account Executive - Outbound, where they managed deals up to $57k in revenue and consistently hit weekly and monthly targets. In 2020, Maya founded MRomic Consulting, where they provided organisations with strategic and operational support, managing two clients; a Furniture Retailer and UK University. Most recently, in 2021, Maya joined Databox as Director of Sales and Customer Success, successfully building out the post-sales function by creating a vision for the team to foster a customer-obsessed culture from the start.

Maya Romic attended Massey University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Social Work in the field of Social Work.
