Chris Ramakers

Chris Ramakers is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in software development and team leadership. Since October 2019, Chris has been serving as the Engineering Manager for Developer Platforms & Design System at DataCamp, focusing on enhancing the developer experience and productivity. Prior roles at DataCamp include leading various squads, such as the Learner Journey and Skill Assessment squads, where Chris contributed to optimizing the platform experience and developing data skill assessment tools. Before joining DataCamp, Chris was the Owner of Skyrocket Concepts and held leadership positions at Combell and Nucleus, overseeing software engineering teams and implementing agile methodologies. Chris began a career in web development in 2002, gaining expertise through various roles at multiple companies. Chris holds a degree in Applied Computer Science from Hogeschool PXL and has a background in Social Sciences from Salvator College.
