Mohamad Mostafa

Mohamad Mostafa is an experienced professional in the scholarly publishing sector, currently serving as a Regional Engagement Specialist for DataCite since June 2023, focusing on the Middle East and Asia. Previously, Mostafa served as a Crossref Ambassador for the Middle East and North Africa from January 2018 to July 2023, where responsibilities included supporting the scholarly publishing community with training and resources. From July 2016 to June 2023, Mostafa held the position of Publishing Production Manager at Knowledge E, overseeing an Open Access publishing platform and liaising with indexing and citation databases. Prior to that, Mostafa was a Publishing Team Leader at Wiley from January 2011 to June 2016, managing diverse teams in publishing, abstracting, indexing, and technology support. Mostafa holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Minufiya University, earned between 2006 and 2010.
