Eric Segal

Senior Software Architect at Data Collaborative

Eric Segal has a long history of work experience in the software industry. Eric began their career in 1978 as a Computer Programmer for the Philadelphia Health Management Corporation. In 1981, they became a Computer Programming Instructor for the Chinese Economic Development Council. In 1982, Eric started working as an Independent Software Consultant for Self, developing and improving Management Information Systems, client tracking software and web pages for for-profit and non-profit organizations. From 1986 to 1992, they served as Program Director for the Tri-city Community Action Program, administering and directing all elements of anti-poverty programs. From 1992 to 1998, Eric worked as the Executive Director for the Association for Resident Control of Housing, where they administered and directed all elements of planning, fundraising, information management, curriculum development, training, staff supervision and program development. In 2020, Eric rejoined Data Collaborative as a Senior Software Architect.

Eric Segal attended Tufts University from 1989 to 1991, where they earned a MA in Public Policy. Eric then attended Wesleyan University from 1975 to 1980, where they earned a BA in Science in Society.
