Lorenzo Maggi has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Lorenzo began their career in 2010, taking a gap year to work in New Zealand as a waiter and chef while exploring the country. This experience helped shape their work attitudes and ethics.
Upon returning, Maggi completed internships at Bauli Group in sales and marketing, and at Hootsuite in back office operations. These internships introduced him to the dynamics of sales, customer management, and marketing.
In 2014, Maggi joined L10 as an International Sales Executive, where they established relationships with international customers and managed the full sales cycle for over 50 new accounts per year in France, DACH, Scandinavia, and Oceania. Lorenzo also attended trade shows to develop the company's distribution network.
After leaving L10 in 2018, Maggi joined Sonnenglas as an Export Manager. In this role, they managed and expanded the global customer network, focusing on markets outside of DACH. Lorenzo also acted as an interface between the marketing unit and the company's B2B partners.
In 2020, Maggi joined Dream Broker as a Customer Relations Manager, where they managed an international B2B portfolio of customers. Lorenzo'sresponsibilities included product demos, onboarding, managing renewals, running customer workshops, and collecting and reporting data related to product usage monitoring.
In 2021, Maggi became the Head of Startups at Startuplifers, where they led, managed, and planned partnerships with companies in the Silicon Valley startup ecosystem.
In 2023, Maggi worked as a freelance consultant under the company name LM, providing consulting services to clients.
Also in 2023, they served as the Chief of Growth at Selectic GmbH, where they worked with the founders to develop the company's sales structure and customer management model.
Currently, Maggi is working as a Growth Lead at DataCrunch, where they focus on business development, customer management, cooperation with the marketing team, and expansion strategies for the company's GPU hosting services tailored to AI and ML operations.
Lorenzo Maggi holds a Bachelor's degree in Languages for International Commerce from Università degli Studi di Verona, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Lorenzo then pursued an Associate's degree in International Business Management at Greystone College from 2012 to 2013. Later, Lorenzo completed a Master's degree in Languages and International Business from Università degli Studi di Verona from 2015 to 2018.
