Charles Cote

Charles Cote is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and technology innovation. Currently serving as an Engineering Director at Datadog since February 2024, Charles previously co-founded and held the role of CTO at Recare from May 2016 to December 2023, where a digital post-discharge care coordination platform was developed to enhance hospital efficiency and patient care quality. Prior experience includes a tenure as a Senior Software Engineer at Criteo, where leadership was demonstrated in the ImageProxy project, and contributions were made to the Real-Time-Bidding platform. Early career roles included engineering and analytical positions at Total E&P, RBC Capital Markets, and Schlumberger, showcasing a strong foundation in engineering principles and data analytics. Charles holds a Master’s degree in Oil and Mining Commodities Exploitation from Mines Paris - PSL, completed in 2012.
