Jake Snell

Jake Snell is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and sales, currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering for the Americas at Datadog since July 2018. In previous roles at Datadog, including Regional Manager and Team Lead, Jake focused on sales engineering leadership. At niolabs, from June 2016 to June 2018, Jake contributed significantly as a Solutions Engineer and IoT Architect, leading smart manufacturing implementations and developing prototypes for a Fortune 500 client. Prior experience includes roles at Allegheny Technologies Incorporated, where Jake spearheaded an $11 million automation upgrade, and at the University of Pittsburgh, where Jake reengineered a nuclear reactor control system as a research assistant. Jake’s career began at ANSYS Inc. as a Test Automation Engineer, where Jake developed testing protocols and certification processes. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
