Mark Wheat is an accomplished sales engineering leader with extensive experience in driving process improvements, team management, and customer engagement across various technology companies. Currently serving as the Director of Sales Engineering at Datadog since July 2018, Mark focuses on staffing, coaching, and development to enhance sales excellence. Previous roles include Senior Manager of Solutions Engineering at MapR Technologies, VP of Enterprise Sales and Marketing at LogZilla Corporation, and Professional Service Sales Solutions Principal at SevOne Inc., among others. Mark possesses a strong technical background, complemented by degrees in Technology Management and Information Technology from Brandeis University and the University of Phoenix, respectively.
